Live and Let Live

We find it too moralising and annoying when our elders say not to waste food. But when I saw this miserable scene I felt that they are right. It was nearly 9 at night when we were returning to our home after attending a function. When we reached the local railway station I saw a woman collecting the spoiled vegetables thrown by the vegetables vendors in spite of being stamped by the people who pass by which the hungriest stray animals will not mind to sniff. I felt very bad to see a woman who was longing for something to eat while we people who waste our food which would have been a feast for that poverty stricken woman.

Despite the government boasting about the various cheap and free policies and measures taken  feed the poor this incident was an example to show them that there are still people who don't even have an hand to mouth existence around us. We talk about helping African countries in improvising their healthcare facilities and educational facilities when our own story is sorrow one. It not just the government to be blamed. We are glad to donate huge sum of money for charity but hesitate to feed a hungry beggar who comes at the gates.

That incident made me feel that we all had been wicked, immoral and evil to the needy in front of our eyes. Then I decided atleast the next time when I ever see hungry human I will never leave seeing them hungry and do my best to feed them. Let us not enjoy the life ourselves but also share it with others. Let us not be a cause for  the hungry to become hungrier any more.

Remember a ordinary meal of ours will a be a feast for many !!!!!!

Changes PROHIBITED here !!!

Bringing in changes to our life is interesting and encouraging. But adapting to the new changes is tiresome. Many of get influenced by the inspiring books, philosophies, moral lectures and feel like adopting those in our routine. We feel like a ‘Take Diversion’ has come in our way and we are about a take new route we find it interesting. But when this way becomes lengthy we start feeling that it is annoying and feel like ‘Break the Rules’. Similarly we often tend to take initiatives and resolutions with full enthusiasm and earnestness but often but fail to stick to it.  Everyone around start giving shot in hand and start expecting highly productive results from us. With a boost we step ahead. Then the show starts. We find it difficult to fit into our mental frame. The initial motivation switches to opinions, mentions, remarks, criticism and finally blames. Then the vigor then evaporates leaving shame, guilt and we start feeling defeated. Then slowly ‘Break the Rules’ comes into focus. Then we step into our life board and go to our safe harbor. And then the wheel goes around and the second show starts.
