just like others...

you may think why people are so serious when they come to 12th std... even i wondered the same until i joined 12th. but i later realised the reason.... it automatically comes to you... no matter how casual you are.. even if your parents pretend to be less bothered about you, you will feel the pressure... i used to wonder they try to be busy always. but now....

                  i thought i would not be like others ( i thought those guys were nerds ), but now i am just like others.. :) 

With Ruskin Bond

Had a lovely day at Landmark, Nugambakkam. Why ? this question would definitely pop out of your mind.

i met Ruskin bond today. don't raise your eyebrows. i know you all missed this chance. i went there earlier to find a seat in the front row, but decided to sit in the second row.( all the chairs where empty).he was almost on time. " gentle, humble, warm, polite" were the words that came to mind my when i saw his.

he is a witty guy. if you wriggle like a worm in the presence of big shots or elder people, don't worry you wont do that in his presence.

i was delighted to see a young girl who bought her school notebook with Ruskin's photo in it. it reminded me of my primary classes that exactly when i was introduced to Ruskin's stories.

a had a couple of questions for him. at the end of the day i felt low. ask me why. when i was coming out of the store, my bro told me that a person from NDTV was there. i immediately rushed through the crowd with a pipe dream of seeing myself in TV. finally the lady told me that she was there to interview Ruskin. it was brick-back that i aimed at myself.

never mind, its all in the game. 

why this font ???

you may wonder why i chose this font. you may even jump to conclusions about my blog after seeing this style. this post is to justify why i chose this.

i write in cursive, so i feel that my blog will reflect me in this way. secondly, there is nothing wrong in having my blog in my own way. last but not the least, i will not  take your complains in anyway. x(

i was surprised to hear many people talking about this book.i had never heard about his earlier. i liked the name of the book and finally decided to borrow it from the local library.

Book Review :-

Rating - * * * * * (These are stars)

what i felt about the book-  A simple plot, not too fast or slow. The descriptions of Baba, Hasan, and Afghanistan are excellent. The description of the country and people completely different from what i had imagined( actually prejudiced ). 

what i felt about the author - the author is a gifted narrator. he has used the words carefully. the author is in his full form when he narrates about the guilt and dilemma

Suggestions - can be gifted to your friends who love reading books( but not to the geeks who love science, weapon and action stuff ) 

i was longing to read this. kite runner is master piece. after a month of reading kite runner i got this book.

what i felt about his book - a little faster than kite runner. i liked the way the characters of Lalia and Mariam have designed. i liked when Lalia marvels at how many brutal attacks that human body could bear. the climax was wonderful. i never expected mariam would help Lalia that way. 

what i felt about about the author - he is not a person overwhelmed by the success of his book. humble and a passionte story teller.

Suggestions - You can gift or recommend this if your friend had read kite runner earlier.(not to people who hate to read about ill treatment of women )
